Prescription Spectacle Kit for Wearers of Scuba and Snorkeling Masks
The
Scuba and Snorkel Specs are designed to allow a diver to
quickly insert prescription lenses into a dive mask to attain normal
vision underwater.
ATTENTION DIVERS
The same visual technology found in the SmokSpec is available for underwater visual correction.The ScubaSpec is designed to do for the scuba mask what the SmokSpec does for the respirator air mask.
The #301 ScubaSpec is used in a higher-volumed scuba mask. The #199EB ScubaSpec is used in a lower-volumed scuba mask. The ScubaSpec is supplied in nylon polymer - - black and white colors.
This spectacle insert is comprised of a bracket and a correctable frame front. The bracket is cemented to the aspect of the mask's face plate with silicon rubber adhesive. Your underwater visual abilities will be equal to those of the normally sighted diver. Rx lenses are inserted into the frame front and the corrected front is snapped onto and locked into the bracket. It is removed from the bracket by a reverse procedure.
The corrective Rx lenses are supplied by an eyecare professional.
